Thanks, Trent!

I adhere to the stricter policies of the European Union. So, you have to click on being an adult who is prepared for unpleasant surprises.
Also, because the current administration in Washington DC has sequestered the Copyright Office of the Library of Congress, I am looking to the Berne Convention which the US joined on a presidential order by Ronald Reagan. Under the Berne Convention, all rights begin with the creator of the work. You can sell them, assign them, etc., but that comes after the fact of creation.
I am pretty good at Blogger (or so I tell myself). The print book needs your expertise. There will only be fewer than 100 produced: five for each of the authors, you, and me. I am looking for ten authors and I have seven now; I would accept more than ten. I am still looking. Also, there will be some illustrations, and at least the front and back cover art. The ArmadilloCon convention includes artists and I hired one a couple of years ago for a different project. So, I will reach out to them and see what I can afford.
Anyway,... since the authors are getting $250 for their stories, I offer you the same for your work, if that's OK.
Right now, it looks like 48 to 60 pages. I would be happy with 8-1/2x11 folded to half-size and saddle stitched with staples and a 60-lb cardstock cover. As you can tell: I have no imagination.
(Do you know the videos of Elle Cordova? She has two on "Fonts Hanging Out" and used a lot of that for her TED Talk.)
Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Michael
“But words are things, and a small drop of ink,
Falling like dew, upon a thought, produces
That which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think;
’T is strange, the shortest letter which man uses
Instead of speech, may form a lasting link
Of ages; to what straits old Time reduces
Frail man, when paper — even a rag like this,
Survives himself, his tomb, and all that’s his.”
George Gordon, Lord Byron. Don Juan, Canto III.
